Managed Services

Managed Services

Ongoing operation, monitoring, and optimization — so the value doesn't decay after go-live

Most environments don't fail suddenly after go-live — they degrade slowly. Configurations drift, nobody's watching for early warning signs, and the platform that was carefully optimized at launch is quietly less efficient a year later. Internal teams are usually stretched across daily operational demands and can't dedicate the consistent attention a platform needs to stay optimized. SiS runs Managed Services as ongoing operation and optimization delivered by a team that already understands your environment — often because we were part of building it.

This is not reactive break-fix support. It's a continuous management service — monitoring, optimization, and defined service levels — delivered by a Microsoft Solutions Partner with the technical depth to actually improve your environment, not just keep it running.

The problem organizations run into

  • Support that only reacts. Without proactive monitoring, issues are addressed only after users notice something is broken — by which point it's already affecting the business.
  • Configuration drift over time. Environments optimized at launch slowly diverge from best practice as changes accumulate without anyone reviewing them holistically.
  • No consistent ownership. Internal teams juggle operational support alongside every other responsibility, so proactive optimization is the first thing to get deprioritized.
  • Vendors without service commitments. Support arrangements without defined response and resolution targets leave organizations unsure what to expect when something actually goes wrong.
  • No visibility into what's being managed. Without regular reporting, it's unclear whether a support arrangement is actually delivering value or just generating an invoice.

Our approach

Managed Services is delivered as a continuous, structured service rather than a one-time project — but it starts with proper onboarding so we understand your environment before we're responsible for it.

Onboarding (typically 2–4 weeks)

We learn your environment thoroughly before taking on operational responsibility for it.

  • Environment discovery and documentation review across the systems in scope
  • Baseline health assessment identifying any existing issues or optimization opportunities
  • Service level agreement (SLA) definition — response times, resolution targets, and escalation paths agreed upfront
  • Integration with your existing tools and processes, so the transition is seamless for your team and users

You leave this phase with a documented baseline and clear service commitments — before we take on day-to-day responsibility.

Ongoing Management & Support (continuous)

Once live, we operate as an extension of your team, responsible for keeping the environment healthy and performing.

  • Proactive monitoring across Microsoft 365, Azure, security, and data platforms
  • Issue detection and resolution against defined SLAs, often before users notice a problem
  • Regular health checks and optimization reviews — not just responding to tickets, but actively improving the environment
  • Change management support for updates, new requirements, and evolving business needs

Reporting & Continuous Improvement (ongoing)

Value from a managed services engagement should be visible, not assumed.

  • Regular reporting on tickets handled, response times, and SLA performance
  • Optimization recommendations based on what we're actually seeing in your environment
  • Periodic service reviews to reassess scope and priorities as your organization's needs change

What's included

Component What you get
Onboarding & Baseline Full environment discovery and an agreed SLA before we take on responsibility
Proactive Monitoring Continuous oversight across Microsoft 365, Azure, security, and data platforms
Issue Resolution Support against defined response and resolution targets, not open-ended promises
Health Checks & Optimization Regular reviews that actively improve the environment, not just maintain it
Change Management Support for updates and evolving requirements without disrupting stability
Reporting Regular visibility into what's being managed and how it's performing

What you can expect to gain

  • Consistent operation — without needing to build and retain that expertise internally
  • Issues caught early — proactive monitoring means problems are often resolved before they affect users
  • Clear expectations — defined SLAs mean you know exactly what to expect when something goes wrong
  • An environment that improves over time — instead of slowly drifting from how it was originally optimized
  • Visible value — regular reporting shows exactly what's being managed and what it's delivering

Is this the right fit for you?

  • You've completed an implementation and need ongoing operational support, with or without us as the original delivery team
  • Your internal team is stretched too thin to proactively monitor and optimize your environment
  • You've had support arrangements before with no clear service commitments
  • You want a long-term partner who already understands your environment, not one relearning it every time something breaks
