Implementation

Implementation

Execution that follows the plan, delivered by people who understand why it was made

A roadmap only creates value once it's actually built. Too often, the team that designs a solution hands it off to a different team to build it, and something gets lost in that transition — context, intent, and priorities that made sense on paper but weren't communicated clearly enough to survive the handoff. SiS runs Implementation as hands-on delivery grounded in a real understanding of what the solution needs to achieve — not just a specification to execute against.

This is not a generic build-to-spec engagement. It's solution delivery across Microsoft 365, Azure, security, data, and business applications — delivered by a Microsoft Solutions Partner with the technical depth to execute what advisory recommends, or whatever requirements you bring to us.

The problem organizations run into

  • Delivery that drifts from the plan. Without continuity from planning to execution, implementation teams often build something technically correct but disconnected from the original business intent.
  • Timelines that slip without warning. Projects run without clear milestones or regular status visibility, so delays surface only when a deadline is already missed.
  • Issues discovered after go-live. Without proper testing and validation, problems that should have been caught before launch become production incidents instead.
  • Knowledge that leaves with the consultant. Implementation finishes, the team moves on, and the client's internal staff are left without a real understanding of what was built or how to maintain it.
  • Scope that quietly expands. Without clear boundaries and change management, projects grow beyond their original scope and budget without anyone formally deciding that should happen.

Our approach

We run every implementation through the same disciplined structure, regardless of the specific technology involved.

Solution Design (typically 1–3 weeks)

We translate the plan — yours or one we built together in Advisory — into a concrete technical design.

  • Solution architecture and design based on your roadmap, requirements, or existing advisory recommendations
  • Technical validation of the design against your actual environment and constraints
  • Project plan with clear milestones, timelines, and defined success criteria
  • Risk identification and mitigation planning before execution begins

Delivery (typically 4–20 weeks, scoped to solution complexity)

We build, configure, and deploy the solution according to the validated design.

  • Hands-on delivery across Microsoft 365, Azure, security, data platforms, and business applications
  • Regular status reporting and milestone check-ins, so progress is visible throughout, not just at the end
  • Structured change management for any scope adjustments, so changes are decisions, not drift
  • Testing and validation at each stage, not saved entirely for the end of the project

Go-Live & Handover (typically 1–3 weeks)

We make sure the solution is stable at launch and that your team actually understands what they're inheriting.

  • Go-live support and post-launch stabilization
  • Full documentation of what was built, how it's configured, and why
  • Knowledge transfer sessions with your internal team, not just a document dropped in an email
  • A clear handover to Managed Services if ongoing support is part of the engagement

What's included

Component What you get
Solution Design A validated technical architecture tied to your actual roadmap or requirements
Project Management Clear milestones, timelines, and regular status reporting throughout delivery
Hands-On Delivery Technical execution across Microsoft 365, Azure, security, data, and business applications
Testing & Validation Issues caught during delivery, not discovered after go-live
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer A clear record of what was built and a team that understands it
Go-Live Support Stabilization support through launch, not a handoff the moment it's deployed

What you can expect to gain

  • Delivery that matches the plan — because design and execution stay connected throughout
  • Predictable timelines — clear milestones and regular visibility instead of finding out about delays after they happen
  • Fewer surprises at launch — testing and validation built into delivery, not rushed at the end
  • A team that can actually run it — documentation and knowledge transfer that leave your staff capable, not dependent
  • Controlled scope — changes are deliberate decisions, tracked and agreed, not silent expansion

Is this the right fit for you?

  • You have a roadmap or requirements already defined and need a delivery team to execute it
  • A previous implementation left you with an undocumented environment your team doesn't fully understand
  • You need Microsoft 365, Azure, security, data, or business application work delivered by people with deep technical expertise
  • You want regular visibility into project progress, not just a start date and an end date
